Sunscreen is a must have for any beach vacation. When traveling to the ocean consider a reef safe option. We like Blue Lizard for our reef safe sunscreen. The protections is great and very little scent. The sunscreen sticks are a must for travel as they do not count as a liquid if you are trying to go carry on only. Don’t forget about the after-sun care in case you forgot to reapply the sunscreen! The Banana Boat aloe spray is my must have.
Towel bands for those breezy days by the beach or pool to keep your towel in place. These Boao bands have held up for 3 years of travel and home use. They stretch to fit any size beach lounger and barely take up any space in your suitcase.
Sunhat for keeping the rays at bay. Furtalk straw hat has a wide brim and rolls up to pack in your suitcase. I struggle with finding a hat that will fit my smaller head, but this hat has an adjustable strap inside to fit snug. There is a chin strap for those extra windy days. I have had this hat for about 4 years and it has been all over the Caribbean, wet from ocean and pool water and still holding up.
Waterproof phone pouches are a must to keep your phone from water and sand. You never know when you’re going to need to grab the perfect vacation photo in the pool or the ocean! I snorkel with these Hiearcool phone pouches and have never had an issue using my phone or leakage. This two pack is perfect for you and your travel buddy.
Staying hydrated is a priority when on the beach or at the pool. We love these Mira water bottles as they fit perfect in our backpacks and they will keep ice all day in the heat. The lid is leakproof so you don’t have to worry about them leaking when tossing them in your beach bag. Liquid IV is another staple for us for hydration after a long day in the sun and if you have had a few too many cute drinks with umbrellas. *wink*wink.
What is a trip to the beach without the perfect swimsuit? Well CUPSHE has the cutest tankini that has great coverage, but still cute to wear without looking like your grandma. When its time to dry that cute swimsuit these clothes pins work great to hang it up. Most resorts don’t allow you to hang your swimsuits over the balcony to dry and the humidity inside usually takes a full day for your swim suit to dry out. These allow us to hang our swim suit off a chair on the balcony for quick drying and assure they will not blow away.
Finally you need a beach bag to tote your must haves to your lounger. This mesh bag is a great find to round up all of your essentials.
